Welcome to the 2024 summer swim season! We are looking forward to another summer of great swimming and fun with friends!

Save the Date - we will host a team kickoff on Saturday, May 18. Coaches will host time trials, new swimmers will be able to take a swim test before registering (must be able to swim the length of the pool independently*), and parents can bring any suits you'd like to swap or sell.

Afternoon practice will begin Tuesday, May 28 and run through Thursday, June 13.

4:15 - 5:00 13 & up
5:00 - 5:45 9 - 12 year olds
5:45 - 6:15 8 & under

*In order to keep everyone safe, your child must be able to swim the length of the pool independently. Anyone who is not yet able to do so can register for independent lessons and then join the team at a pro-rated rate once they pass a swim test with a Flyers' coach. The Flyers will not be offering lessons this year, but many of the coaches offer them privately, as well as the Rec Center and area clubs.

Morning practices will run June 17 through July 26, Monday through Friday.

8:00 - 9:00 9-12 year olds (this age group may shift depending on registration numbers)
9:00 - 9:45 8 & under
9:45 - 10:45 13 & up

Our first (friendship) meet will be Monday, June 17. Summer Awards will be Saturday, July 27 and Champs will be held Saturday, August 3. We will host our end of season celebration on Monday, August 5.

Team fees remain the same as last year - $110 per swimmer with a sibling discount of $5 per additional child. Families will be required to fulfill volunteer commitments totaling four points for the first swimmer, and one additional point per additional swimmer with a cap of 6 points per family. (In general, one volunteer slot - timing, concessions, ribbon writing, etc - is equal to one point). You will sign up for volunteer shifts for meets the week prior to each meet. There are a number of jobs that begin now, can be fulfilled from your home or in flexible hours, and count for more than one point (ribbon prep, end-of-year event planning, spirit activities, swim buddy coordination).
