Hello Flyers!

Another big WIN against Ford’s Colony—way to go Flyers! You continue to amaze us with your spirit, speed, and sportsmanship!

A few important reminders as we head into the second half of our season:

1. Final HOME Meet – Monday 7/8 vs Kingsmill Sharks! This will be our last home meet of the season and a special one—we’ll be honoring our seniors before the meet. We’ll start a little early to ensure everything runs on time, so please plan accordingly.
2. We Need All Hands on Deck! Volunteer signups are open and every role matters, including concessions! Let’s keep things running smoothly and quickly—we can’t do it without you.
3. Leave No Trace. Let’s continue being the team others admire—please clean up your area before leaving the meet. Let the only thing we leave behind be a trail of fast swims and great memories!
4. Awards Meet – Friday, 7/26 This meet is for swimmers who haven’t yet qualified for Champs—it’s a fun, celebratory meet and a final chance to qualify. 10 & Unders swim in the morning, 11 & Overs in the afternoon. I’ll be in Lynchburg that weekend, so we’ll have a designated point of contact and volunteer slots will be assigned if not filled. Please be proactive! We’ll share info on deck setup, warm-ups, and parking as the date gets closer.
5. Awards T-Shirts – Pre-Order Now! Commemorate the season with a 2024 Awards shirt! Order here for $20 – pickup will be at the Awards meet.
